Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza, New Orleans

Our stay at the Avenue Plaza Resort was quite enjoyable, thanks to its lovely decor and engaging atmosphere. The spacious room was ideal for our needs, and we took full advantage of the nearby attractions with the streetcar just outside. However, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast options and the pressure we felt during the timeshare presentation. Overall, the location is great, and the resort has some fantastic facilities.

I had a solid experience at the hotel, thanks to its strategic location near the streetcar line and the comfortable room with kitchenette amenities. While the staff at check-in were friendly, I found the timeshare pitch a bit overwhelming. The lack of regular cleaning service during my stay was a downside, and the room felt cramped at times, especially with no mid-week service offered. All in all, it was a decent stay but not without its quirks.

The hotel offered a relaxed atmosphere and good access to transportation, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was spacious and tidy, featuring a kitchenette, although some aspects of the facility, like the air conditioning and noise level, detracted from the overall experience. The staff was friendly, but the service could have been more attentive and engaged. While the convenient location near attractions was a definite plus, I had some concerns about privacy due to an unexpected incident with staff accessing our room without notice.
